At Farmhouse By The Hill, we are a father and son team dedicated to reviving the beauty of farmhouse furniture, offering restored pieces that bring warmth and character to your home, completely tailored to you.

Each item is carefully sourced from all over the UK, brought back to our workshop in Fife, and restored to ensure the best look for your home. We have been working tirelessly to perfect the best possible style and products to make our tables stand out above the rest.

It's always been possible to buy "reclaimed" furniture, but with new legs, tops, and frames, we feel this is just not an acceptable way to provide furniture. I was brought up to live within my means and always use what I had.

We both feel strongly that felling trees and cutting down woodlands just to have a nice piece of furniture is such a shame, especially with the amount of deforestation going on around the world. Instead, we find the potential in unloved items, strip them all back, use water-based primer, apply it by hand, and then use water-based Farrow and Ball Modern Eggshell to revive each dining set back to life.
